Macau Day 1 [Senado Square+Ruins of St Paul+City of dreams+Venetian Hotel]

Macau Day 1

Day 1 itinerary: Airport > MCM Hotel > Grand Emperor Hotel > Senado Square > Ruins of St Paul > City of dreams > Venetian Hotel

Finally finding time out to blog abt my Macau & Hongkong trip that I went to w my family last September! Shall briefly blog about it becos of th lack of photos which I will tell you why at th end of th post. Will be doing a vlog after all th posts are done so don't worry!

Boarded th plane at midnight becos we took th midnight flight & arrived at Hongkong at 6am in th morning. We had to take a ferry to Macau & th counter wasn't open yet. Th first ferry was at about 9am & so we waited at th holding area & even fell asleep after having breakfast at this café which was at th holding area.

Yummmy & th food is so cheap!

Arrived at Macau at about noon. Took a bus to MCM & we walked over to our designed hotel, Grand Emperor Hotel in abt 15mins & checked in early.

I love th room a lot becos it's so big & spacious!!

We thn went out for lunch at Chan Kong Kei 陈光记饭店 (Roast Duck my fav) which is just a 5mins walking distance frm our hotel!!! This costs us about Sgd$55? DAMN EX & I think th food here is soso only.

Took a bus to Senado Square & we tried out their famous local milk pudding 義顺牛奶 which costs us Sgd$15 for 2 bowls of milk & ginger pudding!!! Overpriced & not nice at alll, our local bean curd tastes btr??? Over-rated!!! :(

We thn walked over to th Ruin's of St Paul & it started raining.

Went to look for bus to Macau Tower but we were so sad to know that we have to book tickets to go up th viewing platform which was already full :( Decided to just take a shutter bus over to City of Dreams to catch their Bubble show thn becos we were all feeling v tired & sian becos we have been walking so much while looking for buses to go to Macau tower :(

I'm so glad my parents enjoyed th Bubble show!! Ticket was about Sgd$8 each. We thn decided to walk over to Venetian Hotel after that for dinner & egg tarts.

Dinner was SUPER OVERPRICED becos this place was meant to "chop" tourists. Definitely don't recommend you to eat here unless you have too much money to spend. Our dinner costs us Sgd$63, just by these 3 bowls of dishes........ Sigh feel as though we are "chop" th whole day :(

Tried their famous egg tart, super love it!!! Th only thing that we are happy about tdy!

We thn took a cab back to th hotel & we were so upset that my dad left his camera on th cab & we weren't able to retrieve it. It was quite a bad day for us actually & I cried partly becos I was so tired after a long day & partly cos I was so sad that I lost so many photos & also my dad's camera which was once my camera for 2 years. Hence, this explains th few amt of photos in this post...... :( But I'm glad that dad won about $600 that night frm casino & our camera money is retrieved back.

Will blog about Macau Day 2 & Hongkong Day 1 in th nxt post!
