[26/06/13] Korea: Seoul Day 1-2!
Day 1 & 2 Itinerary: Airport > JongNoWon Guesthouse > Sungkyunkwan University > Myeong Dong > Cat Cafe > Gyeongbukgong Palace > NanTa
Met boonchin at airport for lunch w my family & boonsiew before departuring to Korea. Finally it's my turn to fly agn! This time, for 35 days... So freaking long YAY SO EXCITED! Sat Scoot & we had to transit over to Seoul at Taipei. Bought some food during our stopover too cos we were rly hungry!
Our first meal in Korea. Tried their KFC garlic chicken which tastes both sweet & salty, yummy! Reached Seoul at about 11pm at night & we managed to share cab with ppl we met their to our guesthouse - Jongnowon Guesthouse which is near Anguk area.
Our room consists of 2 single bed.... But we changed room to a queen size bed after a week becos we wanted more space for ourselves.
Day 1:
Woke up early in th morning, prepared & headed out to Sungkyunkwan University for Orientation. There are 2 direct bus to school from our guesthouse & it only takes about 10 mins + 10 mins of walking time! Damn near right!
Our T-money card which is th same as our ezlink card in sg, you can get this at any convenience store though. Like G25 or C.U.
Had a short orientation talk before we went around for school tour. Lunch buffet after that & thn we were dismissed & allowed to go...
Head over to Myeongdong (Line 4) for shopping time after that. Our school's subway station is at Hyehwa (Line 4) & there's a shopping street thr too!

Felt kinda tired & we went up to this Cat Cafe which is located at th third floor. It costs us 8,000w each to get in & free drinks is provided. Th cats are all super cute & FAT, omg love them so muchhhhhh!
Went back & we alighted at Jongno3ga. Had korean bbq near exit 6 for dinner at 22,000w, our first korean meal before heading back to th guesthouse.. Damn nice, yummy!
Day 2:
Field trip #1 tdy!
Nanta after that. Watched this last year whn I came to Korea w my family. Still loving th show even though I'm watching it th 2nd time! Back to our hostel after that!

Went school first thn headed out to Gyeongbukgung for our field trip! Went into th National Museum of Korea, which is only beside, first before we took a walk ard th palace.
