3D2N BKK TRIP ITINERARY below SGD750 (Jan 2016)
Went BKK w bf a wk before cny this year. This was our very first solo trip tgt ever since we know each other in 2010 so I was very looking forward to it :) Although it was just 3 days 2 nights, but still we enjoyed our time thr!
Our itinerary for th 3 days:
Day 1: Arrive at Airport > Reach BKK > Lemontea Hotel > Siam > Big C > Platinum Mall > Rod Fai 2
Day 2 - Pratuneum Morning Mkt > Sabx2 Wanton Mee > Chaktuchak Mkt > Train Mkt
Day 3 - Siam Paragon > After you cafe > Platinum Mall > Back to SG
As our aim was to only eat and shop, we spent all th time eating & shopping. So if you are planning to eat and shop only, feel free to follow our itinerary :D
Day 1
Anw, we reached airport at 5plus in th morning becos we took th morning flight & my dad was so kind to fetch us thr before he went to work! We bought out return tickets from Scoot at th price of $170 each :)
Hehehehe on th plane. We reached BKK at about 9 plus in th morning & we thn took a cab to our hotel - Lemontea Hotel to put our luggage first.
Went to Siam area for lunch becos I wanted to try out this famous Somtam Restaurant! Ordered some of their signature dishes, like their fried chicken wings.... DAMN YUMMY, LOVE IT!!!

We thn headed to Mango Tango which was just a 5mins walk away for desserts! I personally feel this place is quite expensive & overrated becos you will be able to find cheaper & nicer mango stuffs outside, esp frm all th street food!

Walked to Big C for some shopping after that, we followed th GPS & walked for abt 15 mins.

Bought so many stuffs & so we decided to go back to our hotel - Lemontea Hotel to check in & put all our stuffs! I booked my room at $53 a night & I LOVEEEE this place so soooo much!!! Th best thing is, thr is a HUGE 7-11 next to th hotel & it's so convenient!

Walked to Platinum mall for boat noodles & shopping after that!
Went back to our hotel to put all our shopping loots before heading out in th evening agn to Rod Fai 2!!! My fav night mkt amongst all :) We took a cab thr as it wasn't rly convenient frm whr we stayed.

Ate so many yummy street food, bought so many clothes & even did my nails at only $16!!!! I personally love Rod Fai 2 ALOT, becos of th format thr that makes shopping so much easier & they have so many shops!!! My nails & loots of day 1 below :)
Day 2
Woke up at 7am th nxt morning & we headed out to Pratuneum Morning Mkt which was just 5 mins walk frm our hotel! So convenient! So as known, th mkt here usually has th cheapest clothes as compared to everywhr. No photos taken cos we were all sweaty & busy shopping& thr was a large crowd also HAHA so I had to keep an eye to whr I was walking. Went to have th famous Sabx2 Wanton mee for brunch after that! Love th pork leg soooo much, it's literally th best thing on earth! Both cost 100baht per bowl.

Headed back to th hotel to bathe & change before heading out agn at noon to Chaktuchak Mkt. Took th BTS to Mo Chit Station which was v convenient becos our station was in th same line.

Love this coconut ice-cream SOOOOO MUCHHHH. Best of all, it comes w free coconut drink!
Eat shop eat shop eat shop!!!!! New couple tee w bf :)))) Went back hotel to put or stuffs in th afternoon, changed & headed out agn. We were always buying so many stuffs so it's best to put it back here thn go out agn if not my poor bf has to carry everything LOL.
Rod Fai Train Market
Headed to Train Mkt at night...... Totally waste of time becos we both feel that thr's nth to eat or shop thr?! Worst of all is we actually spent almost 2 hrs travelling to and fro becos thr was a jam. Food wasn't good, except for th fried squid. Not think I'm gonna come here anymore nxt time if I'm coming back to BKK. Luckily we still manage to buy some cakes (at rly cheap price) to eat for supper after that HEHE so it's still ok.

Last day alr :((((( Super sad but still we fully utilised th whole day tdy! Headed out to Siam at noon for lunch!
We took th train to Siam station which was just 2 stops away. Tried this v cool and looks v insta-worthy Seafood UFO (570baht)!!! Hehehehe love it! It comes w tomyum-based soup & th highlight of this is actually th mozzarella cheese nxt to it! I mean, who doesn't love cheese? Everything w eggs & cheese is just heaven to me HAHA.

We ordered their Chocolate Strawberry Toast (215baht)... Reallly good & I will definitely come back to try for more nxt time~
Went last min shopping at Platinum Mall agn thn have dinner & came back to pack our stuffs & head to th airport at night becos we took th midnight flight back. Very short BUT fulfilling trip becos I manage to buy & eat whatever that I wanted.

Total expenses for both of us: $470 (hotel + flight) + $1050 (expenses) = $1500++
This trip actually came true becos of bf as I know he has been wanting to go BKK to eat since quite awhile & just nice CNY was coming so I decided to plan this trip so that he can eat & I can shop! Hahaha good idea right! Thankful to have bf here to accompany me throughout this trip, looking forward to our nxt trip in th future :)
