Korea: 8D7N Seoul & Jeju Day 1
Korea: 8D7N Seoul & Jeju Day 1
Decided to find time out to blog about this which was 3 yrs back in 2012 becos I really really miss this trip so much. Always wanted to find a time to do this but it's either I have too many blog posts on hand (events, food reviews, travel diaries) & yup I procrastinate too much.
This Korea trip is th first time that I went Korea & also my family's first time so we were all pretty excited about it becos we are gng during th winter season!!! :D Boarded th plane during midnight hehe we took ASA & th flight was pretty smooth! Here's our food!
Arrived Korea in th morning & we went to grab some breakfast becos we were hungry. Changed to thicker clothes too becos th weather was just too cold. Of cos, meeting our tour guide whom turns out to be th best tour guide I've ever met in my life :D
First stop, Gyeongbok Palace. Super grand palace that was built during th Chosun Dynasty. Weather was super cold I had to cover my face lol.
Went to th National Folk museum of Korea after that but it was a boring place, so not much pictures...
YAY after which we went to this Ice Gallery which was one of my fav place of th day! We were asked to build our own ice cups using th big ice cubes which they have given us in a period of time.
Had super lots of fun w my family & my parents turn out to be winners!!! Hehehe now I know why they are engineers :)
Walked into their own gallery of ice after that & everything was so beautiful how I wish I can stay in here forever. Too pretty & too cool.
Ice cake. Ice piano. Ice bar.
Finally went for lunch!!! Super hungry! YAY Samgyetang for lunch!!!!
Yes one bowl each stuffed w an abalone. TOO GOOD
Went to Korean Traditional Culture Centre to learn how to make our own kimchis!!! Hehe
Also, trying our hanbok w my family for th very first time!
Headed off to Jeju & we had to take a 1hr plus flight over. Settled for dinner at this random restaurant th moment we reached Jeju. Simple meal to end of th night before checking in into our hotel.
I love their steam egggg!!! I love Korea!!! Hehehehe love spending time w my family th most ♥
